Fahima's Plan of Action

Fahima crouched over some wet sand and began to draw out a diagram of her plan with a stick. She started off by doodling a stick version of herself pulling really hard on a vine, that was strung over the branch of a tree.

"I believe we can use our surroundings to our benefit. There are plenty of coconuts laying around, we could use a piece of cloth or weave some palm leaves together in order to make some sort of sling. We would then fill it with some of the heaviest nuts we can find and hoist it high into the trees. I would suggest we set these up  between the food storage area and the tent zone since there is a higher concentration of vegetation."

She drew an arrow pointing to the top of one of the palms in her diagram.

"Usually a trap such as this would have to be triggered manually. Perhaps by one or two team members. But that is unthinkable for a situation such as this, where we will need to be pushing back as much as possible to avoid too much confrontation. We may be able to win this by wit"

Quickly she drew two vertical columns with a vine stretched between their bases.

"Thus I propose we use several trip wires that will trigger the mechanism for us!"

Getting to her feet, she dropped the stick on the ground and searched the faces of her team for any signs of doubt or agreement. Though she wasn't finished yet so she pressed on with her explanation; this time using body movement to best illustrate her explanation.

"The coconuts and/or stones would also be great for projectile use! Mages, such as Mari, who can control water would be capable of sending them careening through the air with a fair amount of force. It may not kill the enemy but it would no doubt incapacitate them for several minutes. I would suggest having some sort of stockpile of them in the safe zone."

She gestured to Guimo.

"On top of the spiked pits Guimo suggested, we could also use a similar tactic in any areas with shorter vegetation. If we were to place sharpened sticks, angled towards the hypothesized area of attack, hidden behind bushes and the like, they would snag them like claws. Causing them hopefully to trip. This could lead to blood loss and a thus hinder their movement. If we were to pair this idea with Guimo's would could even set it up so that they would fall into his pits. I would suggest placing these pretty much anywhere they would be easily concealed. "

Fahima started to realize that she may be going on for too long, but she really wanted to make sure they were able to cover all of their bases with no stones left upturned. This was a big deal.

"Lastly" She stated firmly "In my studies I've learned a low level water spell that will cause the enemy to lessen their speed by fifty percent. If the worst befalls us and we need more time I will definitely use this to the best of my abilities."
